Frequently asked

Do I need to connect my Stripe or PayPal account?

No. Nothing is linked and no OAuth is requested — you type in the order details yourself and nothing about your payment account is ever touched. The letter is yours to paste into your processor's dispute-evidence form.

How is this different from Chargeflow, Justt, or Chargebacks911?

Those services take a percentage of whatever they recover and usually want ongoing access to your payment account — built for merchants fighting a high volume of disputes. This is a flat $19 for one letter, for the merchant who gets a dispute once or twice a year and doesn't want to sign up for a subscription or hand over account access for it.

What is Visa Compelling Evidence 3.0?

A Visa rule, automatic since October 2025, that lets a merchant fight a card-absent fraud claim (reason code 10.4) by showing two or more prior undisputed orders from the same cardholder that share a matching signal — IP address, device, shipping address, or account login — with the disputed order. The generator asks for exactly this when you pick the fraud-claim reason.

Will this guarantee I win the dispute?

No tool can guarantee that — the bank makes the final call. This gives you a properly structured letter and an evidence checklist for your specific reason code, which is most of what separates a response that gets read from one that doesn't.

What counts as a reason code?

It's the specific claim code Visa or Mastercard attaches to a dispute — Stripe, PayPal, and Square all show it in the dispute details. Pick the plain-English description that matches what you see; the generator maps it to the right evidence requirements.
