Frequently asked

Where does this data come from?

Every row is a mechanical join of fields from that bank's own FFIEC Call Report — the quarterly regulatory filing every FDIC-insured bank must submit. No modeling, no entity resolution, no judgment calls: it's the bank's own numbers, structured into one flat file instead of thousands of individual government TSVs.

Do you rank or score the banks for me?

No — this is the raw metrics for every institution, not a subjective ranked list. You apply your own thresholds and entity resolution (e.g. matching a subsidiary bank to a public parent ticker), which avoids the false-positive risk of us guessing at that mapping for you.

How is this different from a bank-BI dashboard?

Most existing tools in this space (e.g. bank-management BI platforms) are built for banks to benchmark themselves against peers, sold as a subscription dashboard. This is a flat CSV, no login, no dashboard — an input to your own model, spreadsheet, or research pipeline.

Will there be a next quarter's file?

Yes, once the following quarter's Call Report data is filed and processed it will be posted here as a new one-time purchase — this listing is not a subscription and does not auto-renew or auto-charge.

Can I get a sample before buying?

The table below is 10 real rows from the full dataset (the highest composite stress score among $1B–$150B banks this quarter) — the $299 file has all institutions with no scoring or ranking applied.
