This policy explains what information Edge Thirteen collects when you visit edgethirteen.com, sign up for the free issue, or subscribe, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Edge Thirteen is operated by an individual (Marcus Jackman).

Email address — when you sign up for the free issue or subscribe, we collect the email address you submit.

Billing information— if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you’ve subscribed and basic billing status (active, cancelled, etc.); we never see or store your full card number.

Technical data — when you visit the site, standard information such as your IP address and browser type may be processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the site.

To send you the free issue or the weekly paid issue you signed up for.

To process your subscription and manage billing (via Stripe).

To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We use trusted third parties that process data on our behalf:

Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery and audience storage), Stripe (subscription billing and payment processing), Cloudflare (bot protection / Turnstile), and Vercel Analytics (cookieless, aggregate site-usage analytics).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We use your email only for Edge Thirteen communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us — and we’ll remove you promptly.

The site uses minimal cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a token to confirm you’re not a bot. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and which pages and buttons are used (e.g. checkout started, calculator used) — it is cookieless and does not track you individually across other websites. We do not run advertising networks, and we do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We keep your email while you’re on the list. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

We rely on reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Edge Thirteen is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above.
